Hull 0-24 Huddersfield

Huddersfield Giants moved into second place in the engage Super League table with a 24-0 win over Hull FC at the KC Stadium.

The Giants led 12-0 at the half-time interval and Hull found no way back after he restart.

Huddersfield are equal on 32 points with third-placed Leeds Rhinos who could go second when they play Warrinton Wolves tomorrow night.

The first half hour of the game was scoreless, the visitors only breaking the deadlock when Kevin Brown combined wih Brett Hodgson for David Hodgson to cross,  Brett then converting.

The Giants then inceased the advantage, Brown again the provider for Shaun Lunt to score and Hodgson dding his second goal.

Brown was involved in the build up for a third time after the restart: his flat pass sent Michael Lawence over the try-line and Hodgson added the extras to make the score 18-0.

Former Huddersfield man Chris Thorman was caught out by Liam Fulton’s kick and the loose ball by Liam Cudjoe, Hodgson’s goal sealing a compehensive victory.
