Huge demand for Warriors opener

Wigan Warriors have this afternoon reported that there are only 4500 tickets remaining for Friday's huge Super League Home Opener, when Warrington Wolves visit the JJB Stadium.

Both the North and South Stands have now sold out for this game and limited tickets remain in the East and West Stands.  The Warriors strongly advise any fans wishing to attend this game to pre-purchase their ticket to avoid any disappointment on Friday night.

Marketing Director Simon Collinson said:

"There has been huge interest in this game and ticket sales have gone really well this week.  There will be a fantastic atmosphere for what promises to be a great night and we want to ensure that anyone who wants to see this game live can do so.  We would therefore advise fans to contact either the Warriors or Wolves ticket offices in advance to secure their tickets for the game."

Any children who have received a quid-a-kid voucher through the Warriors community programme for this game are also advised to exchange their voucher in advance as entry cannot otherwise be guaranteed.

Tickets are available for the Warriors engage Super League XII home opening fixture against Warrington Wolves at the JJB Stadium on Friday 9th February via the new Warriors Ticket Hotline on 0871 66-33-552, website at www.wiganwarriors.com/etickets  and through the JJB Stadium Ticket Office.  Warrington Wolves fans can still purchase tickets from Wolfware at the Halliwell-Jones Stadium or the Wolves Ticket Hotline on 01925 248888.
