Huddersfield youngster Jake Wardle banned for three games

Huddersfield starlet Jake Wardle has been banned for three games after pleading guilty to a Grade D dangerous throw charge.

He was charged with a Grade D dangerous throw in the Giants’ game against Widnes Vikings on May 8.

The player will now serve a three-match suspension and has been fined £250.

The case was heard by an independent operational rules tribunal, consisting of Peter Charlesworth, Andy Raleigh and Jon Hamer.
