Huddersfield knock Leeds out

Huddersfield have knocked out the Challenge Cup holders Leeds with a 36-22 victory at home.

The Rhinos, Cup winners in 2014 and 2015, couldn’t fight back after the Giants took a 19-6 first half lead.

Brett Ferres was sin-binned in another difficult night for Leeds, with their losing run continuing.

Huddersfield made it two wins from two games against the Rhinos at John Smith’s Stadium, after beating their Yorkshire rivals in Super League last Friday.
