Huddersfield forward receives one-match ban

Huddersfield forward Michael Lawrence has been handed a one-match suspension by the match review panel.

The 29-year-old will serve a one-match ban for a Grade B dangerous contact charge in Huddersfield’s 26-25 defeat to Wakefield at the weekend.

Lawrence will miss Sunday’s Challenge Cup tie against St Helens.

Elsewhere, Warrington duo Mike Cooper and Matt Davis were charged with Grade A dangerous contact offences but they will not face suspensions.
