Huddersfield 30-10 Celtic

Huddersfield eased to a comfortable victory against Celtic to continue their impressive start under Nathan Brown.

The Giants consolidated third place in the Super League table and moved level on points with Leeds thanks to a 30-10 win at the Galpharm Stadium.

There was a debut try Liam Fulton, who joined the club this week from Wests Tigers, as the home side never really look troubled, despite only holding a 12-0 advantage at half time courtesy of two David Hodgson tries.

The Crusaders, still without a win this season, threatened to make a game of it in the second half, pulling a try back through Josh Hannay, but Fulton restored Huddersfield’s two score advantage.

A try from Damien Quinn gave the visitors some hope, but late efforts from Kevin Brown and Michael Lawrence secured another two points for Huddersfield, their sixth win from eight starts this season.
