Huddersfield Giants moved one step closer to sealing third position in the Super League table with a superb victory over Warrington.

Paul Jackson opened the Giants account after 18 minutes, before tries from Scott Moore and Leroy Cudjoe put them in control at the break.

Ben Westwood crossed early on to restore hope for Tony Smith of a comeback but Cudjoe and centre Michael Lawrence scored further efforts to move comfortably ahead.

Brian Carney scored his first try in Super League since 2005, but it proved to be just a consolation effort for the Irishman.
