How Widnes’ squad looks for 2020

Drew Darbyshire

Widnes have 21 registered players so far for the 2020 season.

The Vikings have made nine new signings ahead of the 2020 Championship campaign. Shane Grady, Kenny Baker, Liam Cooper, Pat Moran and Connor Dwyer will bolster Tim Sheens’ forward pack.

Logan Tomkins looks to be one of the buys of the season in the second tier. He will be Widnes’ first choice hooker, with youngster Jacob Dugdale providing strength in depth.

And in the backs, Jake Spedding, Deon Cross and Jack Johnson have arrived at the Halton Stadium.

The Vikings are 20/1 with Betfred to gain promotion to Super League via the play-offs.
