Danny Washbrook is set to make his 150th Super League appearance for Hull FC tonight against Catalans Dragons.

The loose forward made his 250th overall Super League appearance in Hull’s recent win at Wakefield, and the 31-year-old is very proud to have played so many games for his hometown club.

“It’s very special to make my 150th appearance for my hometown club,” Washbrook told Hull FC Live.

“Last week was a great milestone, making 250 in the Super League, so it’s great for my career.

“I think the club have done an excellent job of marketing the game to get so many people into the stadium and I think that will really help us.”

Washbrook believes that Catalans will be a tough prospect for the Airlie Birds, even at the KCOM.

“Their recruitment has been strong,” said Washbrook.

“Greg Bird and Luke Walsh have been a big influence, especially in that game against Warrington and we’ve got to be on our guard against them.”
