Hodgson out with knee injury

Warrington full-back Brett Hodgson will be out for at least a fortnight with a knee injury.

Hodgson, 35, limped out of last weekend’s Challenge Cup win over Salford, and requires minor surgery.

It rules him out of this Friday’s clash with Hull, and the game against St Helens at the Magic Weekend.

Coach Tony Smith said: “Brett’s got some floating matter behind his knee that he’ll need a tidy up on.

“It’s a fairly minor situation for him but we’ll miss him for the next couple of weeks.”
