Hock set for Salford exit – report

Gareth Hock could be about to be allowed to leave Salford on a free transfer, according to a report in the Manchester Evening News.

The player was hit with a six-game ban for foul play last week, and he is due to have talks with Salford owner Dr Marwan Koukash regarding his future.

He was told not to train with the club with the last week, and was told to go home and ‘‘get himself sorted’’.

The report also claims that Hock would be interested in joining Championship outfit Leigh Centurions.
