Cory Paterson and Gareth Hock are in contention to play for Leigh against Dewsbury today.

The two forwards, along with Liam Kay and Tom Spencer could all feature at The Tetley’s Stadium.

League-leaders Leigh eased to a 40-24 away win over Workington Town on Monday.

“I was very disappointed with our first half but we turned ourselves around and started scoring a few points,” Centurions coach Neil Jukes said.

“We lost our way a little bit when Martyn Ridyard went off, but we got maximum points from the Easter weekend and we’re looking forward to Dewsbury now.”

Dewsbury coach Glenn Morrison described his team as “busted”.

The Rams recovered from a 30-44 derby defeat to Batley on Good Friday with a comfortable 34-16 home win over Sheffield on Monday.

“We put together a team against Sheffield with players carrying injuries which isn’t ideal but we got the win,” Morrison said.

“We’ll take confidence into Leigh. It’s another quick turnaround but we showed some real strength in depth on Monday so hopefully we can put on a bit of a show this weekend against a real good side.”
