Hill: Ellis should win Man of Steel

Warrington prop Chris Hill has backed Hull FC forward Gareth Ellis to take out the Man of Steel award tonight.

Ellis is in the running for the award along with Hull FC teammate Danny Houghton and Castleford winger Denny Solomona.

Hill missed out on the shortlist but was named in the 2016 Dream Team in the front-row.

“Good luck to all the nominess up for Man of Steel. Personally, I’d like to see Gaz [Gareth Ellis] win it,” he told Love Rugby League.

“That’s my personal opinion, but we’ll see tonight.

“Them three definitely deserve it this year. It should be a nice night.”
