Higham: Wolves will return to winning ways

Leigh captain Micky Higham believes former club Warrington will turn the corner, although he will do everything in his power to stop them when the Wolves travel to the Centurions on Thursday.

Warrington have lost all four games this season, while Leigh were impressive in their 30-0 demolition of Huddersfield last Friday but Higham thinks the Wolves will eventually come good.

“Obviously the start to the season hasn’t gone according to plan for them,” he told Sporting Life.

“No one expected Warrington to lose their first four games in Super League, but there is so much quality in the squad that they will soon be back to winning ways – you can be sure about that.

“When the better weather comes, Warrington will be back to their best as they are a top-of-the-ground side with so much quality.

“A lot of their key players have missed the start of the season through injury and they are all itching to get back into things as soon as they can.”
