York City Knights have announced that Brad Hey has signed on for the 2020 Championship season.
Hey, 25, can cover both in the centres and the back-row and is one of the Knights’ longest serving players since joining from Batley Bulldogs back in 2015.
He has scored 21 tries in 90 games for the Knights since then, including 2 tries in 22 games in the 2019 Betfred Championship.
“Brad has continuously displayed a fantastic attitude towards his and the teams development,” said York head coach James Ford.
“His commitment and professionalism are of the highest levels and we’re delighted we’ll be getting to coach Brad for at least another season.
“He regularly makes great metres for the team in exit and he’s a very hard working defender. I’m confident has the ability and drive to continue his progression.”
Hey added: “I was more than happy to sign again. It’s a great group of players and coaches to be involved with and things are looking more promising for the club as a whole.
“We will be more determined to improve on last season and I want to be part of that next chapter.”
