Henderson wary of Sheffield’s Keepmoat threat

London Broncos assistant coach Andrew Henderson knows exactly what kind of threat Sheffield Eagles will pose his team on Sunday.

The two Championship sides are set to clash at the Eagles’ temporary home of the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster.

Henderson believes that the large playing surface at the Keepmoat will suit Mark Aston’s side.

“We’re playing at the Keepmoat Stadium, which is a pitch Sheffield enjoy playing on because their style of play is very expansive,” said Henderson, who left Sheffield last season to take up his post with London.

“I know possibly what will be coming at us, they pose a lot of threats all over the park and have a decent forward pack who chew up the yards.

“They’ve got some exciting backs, so we’re going to have to be very much on our game.”
