Henderson wants Broncos improvement

London Broncos coach Andrew Henderson is keen to see some improvement from his team when they face Featherstone Rovers at home on Sunday.

The Broncos beat Hunslet 32-12 at the weekend, but Henderson wants to see silly errors and indiscipline cut out of his team’s performance.

“It was really important that we got the two points last weekend against Hunslet,” the former Scotland international told his club’s official website.

“As a side it’s really important that we keep in touch with the top four.

“It’s always going to be a challenge away from home but I was really pleased with the attitude and character that was on show from the team, which was something I challenged them on during the week.

“At times when we executed the plan we played some good football but too often we come up with some silly errors and ill-discipline that kept Hunslet in the game and I felt we could have made it an easier afternoon for ourselves had we been a bit more respectful of possession.

“We’re going to have to be really on our game, very focused and determined and put in one of our best performances of the season if we want to get a result against Featherstone.”
