Catalan Dragons hooker, Ian Henderson has suffered an injury blow hours after being selected for the 2012 England squad.

Henderson suffered an injury to his ankle during Sunday’s 36-12 loss at Wigan and will be side-lined for at least three weeks.

The England born hooker was today selected in Steve McNamara’s England Elite Training Squad despite previously representing Scotland in the 2008 World Cup along with his two brothers, Andrew and Kevin.

The 28 year old was born in Devon, England but his family decided to move to Australia shortly after birth.

He made his NRL Premiership debut for the Sydney Roosters in 2003 and has since enjoyed spells at Paramatta, Bradford and New Zealand Warriors before joining the Dragons in 2011.
