Henderson out for season

Leigh forward Kevin Henderson has been ruled out of the rest of the play-offs following his red card against Featherstone last week.

Henderson, 31, saw red for a high tackle late on in the 32-14 defeat at the Bigfellas Stadium, and will now miss Thursday’s do-or-die play-off clash against Sheffield.

Having been handed a two-match ban, after submitting an early guilty plea, Henderson would also miss any potential Grand Final clash against Featherstone.

It means the former Wakefield man is denied the chance to face brother Andrew, who currently plays for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Workington’s Andrew Morris is also out for the rest of the season, after he was handed a two-match ban.

Morris was found guilty of a dangerous throw during last weekend’s win over Whitehaven.
