Hayne to undergo scans

Parramatta star Jarryd Hayne will undergo scans to his knee this week after suffering an injury in the trial match loss to Penrith.
 
Hayne went down clutching his right knee and appeared to be in agony after taking a bomb late in the 26-10 defeat at Centrebet Stadium.
 
In another cruel blow for the Eels, prop Tim Mannah was also struck down with a knee injury.
 
Travis Burns grabbed a double for Penrith to go with scores from Michael Gordon, Kevin Kingston and David Simmonds.
 
Ken Sio and Chris Sandow crossed for the Eels.
