Hayne dismisses NRL speculation

Jarryd Hayne has denied suggestions he is planning a return to the NRL with the Sydney Roosters.

The former Parramatta, NSW and Australia winger, now playing in the NFL in America, was spotted last week meeting with Roosters coach Trent Robinson in Sydney.

Sydney radio station 2UE has claimed it was proof that Hayne was set to return to the NRL.

However, Hayne has denied that is the case and has laughed off the speculation on social media.

Now with the San Francisco 49ers, Hayne was in Sydney to attend a Liverpool FC legends match.

The 27-year old made six appearances for the 49ers in is debut NFL season.
