Haven set to announce Karalius

Whitehaven are expected to announce the signing of scrum-half Ben Karalius from St Helens as they look to build for the 2012 season.

Teenager Karalius, who is the nephew of the late great Vince Karalius, has featured prominiently for the Saints at U20 level and it tipped to shine at the Recreation Ground.

The news comes as Australian forward Luke Isaaka and flying winger Loz Hamzat penned new one-year deals with the West Cumbrian outfit with the club expecting further signings once new coach Don Gailer arrives at the club.
