Wayne Bennett’s contract as Great Britain and England coach has expired, and we want to know if you think he should be given a new one.

The Rugby Football League are currently conducting a thorough review of Bennett’s time in charge of Great Britain and England.

Bennett took over as England coach in 2016 and guided the nation to the 2017 Rugby League World Cup final, where they lost to Australia. He won 10 out of 15 games in charge.

When asked if Bennett had a chance of remaining England coach at a recent media briefing, RFL chief executive Ralph Rimmer said: “Most certainly.

“He wants to stay on, at least following the last conversation I had with him.

“We shouldn’t forget what he’s done. Yes we’ve had a poor year on the field and we’re all hurting – including the players and coaches.”

A decision on Bennett’s future is expected to be made by the RFL in January.
