Harris linked with Salford

Salford could be set to make a move for Wigan assistant coach Iestyn Harris.

Harris, 37, has previously worked with Red Devils coach Brian Noble at Crusaders, and the pair could be set for a re-union at the Salford City Stadium.

Owner Dr Marwan Koukash confirmed their interest in Harris, as well as suspended Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan, in the local press.

Although Harris is under contract at the DW Stadium until the end of the season, it is understood it’s unlikely to be extended.

The former Warrington, Leeds and Bradford playmaker is also coach of the Wales national team, leading them at last year’s World Cup.
