Harlequins 26-6 Celtic

Harlequins recovered from an early scare at home to Celtic with a professional second half performance to keep up with the top four.

Quins found themselves 6-0 down early on, with Damien Quinn scoring with Celtic’s first real opportunity.

A converted Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook try levelled things up, but Quins had to rely on a 40th minute Rob Purdham penalty to edge themselves in front at the break, 8-6.

Brian McDermott fired his troops up after the break, however, and they despatched the Crusaders with relative ease.

Chris Melling gathered a Danny Orr kick to step inside and score before Lule Williamson dived over following a pass by David Howell.

Chad Randall completed the scoring in the final quarter to send Celtic crashing to their 14th defeat of the season.
