St Helens continued their winning run, with a strong second-half performance helping them to overcome a stern test at the Stoop.nnHarlequins built up a 10-0 lead and kept a 10 point advantage until half-time but they were kept scoreless after the break as Saints dominated the second-half.nnHarlequins got off to a perfect start as they raced into a 10-0 lead against the league leaders with Purdham and Hill both crossing for the home-side, who looked in complete control.nnA silly penalty gifted Saints possession and Clough crossed the line to bring Saints back into the game but his score was quickly cancelled out when Rinaldi restored the Londoner’s lead.nnWith Saint’s winning record under threat, Willie Talau reached out to touch down for Saints early on in the second-half to bring them closer. nnA period of pressure helped by a huge 40-20 was repelled by the visitors and they soon found themselves level, when Graham was able to swivel his way over the line on the last tackle.nnCunningham then set up another last tackle score, this time for Cayless, to give Saints the lead for the first timennWith St Helens now leading, Harlequins grit in defence began to waver partly and Clough’s interception eventually allowed Ade Gardner to wrap the game up as he went down the blind side to muscle over.nnAs the hooter sounded, Willie Talau added a final score to give the score line an unjustly comfortable feel and keep Saints clear at the top of the league.
