Castleford full back Zak Hardaker is looking forward to meeting some old friends, when the Tigers take on Leeds at the Jungle on Thursday evening.
The 25-year-old England international is currently on loan at the Tigers from the Rhinos, and his love for his former club clearly runs deep.
“We play them at Magic Weekend too so we’ve got them three times, which is funny,” Hardaker said, according to Rugby-league.com
“I love that club. It’s a great club and they made me what I am today. I’m really grateful for what they did for me.
“I watch them whenever I can. I do wish them all the best, just not against Cas.”
Leeds coach Brian McDermott thinks that Cas are this season’s team to watch out for in Super League.
“I think they’re the best team in the comp right now,” he said.
“They’re a great attacking team. It’s hard to make an assessment of their defensive qualities because they take so much out of you on attack.
“They’re flying at the moment and I can’t see anybody touching them just yet.”
