Brisbane returnee Ben Hannant says he is happy to be back where he started his career.

Hannant will line up for the Broncos next season after two years with Canterbury and the 25-year-old test prop could not be happier.

A native of the Gold Coast, Hannant says he is delighted to be back with his family.

“It is great to be home,” he said.

“It has gone pretty quick the time I have been away, but now we are moving out stuff back into our old place and it feels great.

“I always wanted to come home.

“Obviously with the salary cap and when you are working your way up you have to do your time and your apprenticeship at other places.

“I’ve done that now and it is great for me to be back at the place where I want to finish my career off.”

The Broncos  2011 squad will have a fearsome look about it and will include the likes of Hannant and Greg Inglis who signed for the club in August.
