Hanbury re-signs with Widnes

Rhys Hanbury has signed a three-year extension to his current deal at Widnes taking him through to the 2019 season.

Hanbury joined Widnes in 2012. The fullback has also played for the Bulldogs and Wests Tigers in the NRL, and the Crusaders in Super League.

Hanbury has scored 407 points, including 89 tries, in 166 games for the Vikings.

The 30-year old Australian has been in dynamic form this season, crossing for seven tries from 10 matches.
