Leeds winger Ryan Hall is likely to miss the start of the Super League season after injuring his leg against Featherstone on Sunday.

The England international flyer sustained a dead leg during the game at Big Fellas Stadium, which the Rhinos lost 40-18.

Paul McShane, Michael Coady and Liam Hood also picked up knocks but coach Brian McDermott confirmed Hall was the major worry.

“Ryan’s the concern. I have already been told it’s going to be a matter of weeks before he’s back,” he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Hall has been a prolific try scorer for Leeds since making his debut in 2007, scoring 65 tries in 75 Super League appearances.

The Rhinos are due to take on fierce rivals Bradford Bulls at Millennium Magic in Cardiff on Sunday, February 13.
