Halifax sign Clement Boyer

Halifax have confirmed that they have signed French forward Clement Boyer from Toulouse.

The 20-year-old is set to join up with his new team-mates soon, with his arrival in the UK scheduled for Friday evening.

Fax coach Richard Marshall is pleased to be welcoming such a hgihly rated French talent to the club.

“I’ve got a great relationship with the Toulouse head coach, Sylvain Houles, who has spoken to me about Boyer a number of times, the first of which was about half way through the season,” said Marshall.

“Since then, I’ve seen a lot of footage and can see he’s a very exciting young prospect; with a strong running game and a good offload.

“Particularly now with Tyler Dickenson’s loan period ending and him going back to Huddersfield, it is vital to keep an element of competition in our already motivated squad.”
