Haley closes in on return

test

Halifax club captain James Haley is edging towards a first-team return, as he plays in his third successive under-23’s match tonight.

Haley, 26, is nearing the end of an injury nightmare that has resulted in him not playing so far in the 2012 campaign.

Although Haley is the club’s longest serving player he is under no illusions and knows he will not walk back into the table-topping side.

He was quoted on halifaxcourier.co.uk as saying, “It’s going to be hard to get back in, there’s not much I can do apart from wait now and bide my time. I’ve just got to be patient.”

Halifax under-23’s play Keighley at the Shay tonight, kick-off is 8pm.
