Barrow have announced the re-signing of France international Hakim Miloudi for the 2022 Championship season.

The former Toronto and Hull centre originally joined the club in May, joining from Palau Broncos in the French Elite Championship.

The 28-year-old has won five caps for France, and featured in the World Cup 9s.

Hakim Miloudi eyeing up France spot in 2022

“It’s a pleasure to re-sign for Barrow Raiders for 2022,” he said.

“I’m really proud to continue this adventure with the boys and the staff after all the work we’ve done together last year, especially winning the trophy in League 1.

“The decision to stay with Barrow was easy for me because all the players, the staff, the fans and all at the club make me feel comfortable.

“It’s my second family now.

“We have a new challenge for this season. I can’t wait to be back at training to work hard on it. The best I can wish for is the top six to feature in the plays-offs and see what happens from there.

“My objective at the end of the season is to play the World Cup for the French team, and to make it possible I need to play my best rugby all season with Barrow.”

Head coach Paul Crarey on latest re-signing for 2022

On the re-signing, head coach Paul Crarey added: “Hakim Miloudi brings a little bit of X-factor to our attack.

“His partnership with Tee (Ritson) is already a massive hit with the fans. They are a threat to the opposition from anywhere on the pitch.

“Hakim is excited by the way we play and the atmosphere the club creates on a match day.

“He made it clear he wanted to stay and the club have done the business by re-signing him.”
