New signing Josh Griffin hopes he can add to what he describes as a great team at Hull FC.

Salford centre Griffin has signed a three-year deal with the Black and Whites.

The 26-year old is excited about the future at Hull FC.

“Hopefully I’ll add what we’ve already got here,” he told the club website.

“I like to play tough and with a bit of skill and see if I can add that to the team. We’ve got a great backline here already and the forwards are tremendous.

“They’ve not finished where they are for no reason, they are a great team and hopefully I can add a little bit to it.”

Griffin believes there is no better atmosphere in the competition than that at Hull FC‘s home ground.

“There’s no better atmosphere than playing here,” he said.

“We came to look at the derby a couple of months ago and it was outstanding.

“It’s a shame it’s not going to be there next year, but all the fans here are tremendous.”
