Catalan full-back Clint Greenshields will leave the club at the end of the season and return to Australia.

Greenshields, 30, is the only non-French player to have played more than 100 Super League games for the Dragons, although he has represented France at international level.

He said: “My partner and I have decided to move back to Australia at the end of the season to be close to our family.

“It has been an extremely hard decision to make as I feel a part of me is French and I still have so many friends here. I wanted to let Trent and Bernard Guasch know early so they could find a quality replacement to fit best with the team.”

The Australian joined ahead of the 2007 season and has scored 63 tries in 119 appearances for the club.

He previously played for St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL, and was also named in the 2008 Super League Dream Team.
