Green suspension upheld

Hull KR half-back Blake Green has lost his appeal to have his one match suspension overturned.

Green was found guilty of a Grade A offense on Jamie Foster during Rovers’ 24-22 win over St Helens. Green pleaded guilty at Tuesday’s disciplinary hearing, but has appealed the severity of the punishment which also included a £300 fine.

Green has been ordered to pay a £200 appeal forfeit, and will miss his side’s trip to Catalan the week after the Challenge Cup final.
