Green returns for Wigan

Wigan stand-off Blake Green is set to make his return to action against former club Hull KR on Thursday.

Green, 27, has been missing since rupturing a bicep in the Magic Weekend win over Leeds.

Coach Shaun Wane said: “Greeny is good to play and it’s a huge boost to have him returning to the side after such a spell in the medical room.

“He has worked hard to get back to fitness and deserves this.”

Green made 35 appearances for Hull KR in 2011 and 2012 before moving to the Warriors, winning both Super League and Challenge Cup titles in his debut season.
