Grand Final heading for sell out

Tickets for the 2010 Engage Super League Grand Final between St Helens and Wigan Warriors are selling fast as the eagerly anticipated season finale heads for a sell out.

Wigan Warriors have sold out of their entire ticket allocation for the Engage Super League Grand Final on Saturday at Old Trafford.

The Warriors received an enhanced allocation of 12,000 tickets which were quickly snapped up by supporters eager to see their first Grand Final appearance in seven years and potentially their first Grand Final triumph since the initial final in 1998.

“The demand for tickets has been at unprecedented levels,” said RFL Marketing Manager Phil Williams.

“After an intense few rounds of play-off fixtures, the two most consistent sides this season booked their place in the Engage Super League Grand Final this Saturday.

“Both teams have been starved of the Engage Super League trophy in recent years and are itching to get their hands on it to make up for previous disappointments, so we have the making of an epic encounter.

“The RFL’s remaining tickets are selling rapidly so I urge any fans wishing to attend the Grand Final to move quickly to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets for the 2010 Engage Super League Grand Final cost from just £21 and are also available 24 hours a day from the RFL Ticket Office on 0844 8561113 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk
