Gold Coast have confirmed that Bryce Cartwright and Brian Kelly have been stood down from official duties until further notice.

The Titans say they are following the directives of the Queensland government and NRL in players who do not comply with the required vaccination protocols will be unable to participate in training or play.

A club statement read: “Under the strict NRL Project Apollo club protocols, all players are to receive compulsory vaccinations unless medically precluded.

“Both players have been given the necessary information, as well as welfare assistance, in relation to the matter to assist them moving forward.

“The club will continue to work with the National Rugby League on the matter. No further comment will be made by the club.”
