Huddersfield have taken another Super League scalp in pre-season with a 26-16 friendly victory over Catalans.

The Giants beat Hull KR last weekend and today secured 10-point win against the Dragons.

Leroy Cudjoe got a double while wing partner Jermaine McGillvary also found the line.

Aaron Murphy got the first try of the game, released by Joe Wardle, and then Scott Grix got the second after a kick over the top.

Former Giant Jodie Broughton responded for Catalans to make it 10-4, which the score stayed at half-time.

In the second half the Dragons coughed up a high ball and Cudjoe swopped for his first.

Krisnan Inu went over in the corner for Catalans to make it 16-10. Then McGillvary broke away to set up Cudjoe for his second.

The big winger then sealed the win with his own try, taking the lead to 26-10.

Pat Richards scored the final four-pointer for the Dragons.

Both teams send out strong teams with Danny Brough and Paul Aiton the only notable omissions.
