Giant Hodgson signs Dewsbury deal

Huddersfield full-back Elliot Hodgson has signed a dual-registration deal with Championship side Dewsbury, having previously held a similar deal at Batley.

Hodgson, 20, made his Giants debut against St Helens in 2009, making a man of the match performance in front of the SKY TV cameras, which helped him earn a three-year deal at the end of the season.

He also spent time on a dual-registration deal at Batley last season, and will continue training full-time at Huddersfield before joining up with the Rams at weekends.
