Cook Islands have named their train-on squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifying game against Tonga, which takes place in Sydney on October 17.

Wigan centre Anthony Gelling and Halifax forward Adam Tangata are both included in the group, which coach Alex Chan hopes can cause Tonga some problems.

“I certainly believe that our qualifying match against Tonga will unveil some exciting and entertaining players,” he told NRL.com.

“I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what this squad is capable of.”
