Matt Gee has signed a new two-year deal with London Broncos.

The 22-year-old joined the club from Salford at the end of 2016 after a loan spell at Workington.

Gee said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to have signed another deal with the club. I’ve really enjoyed it this year and I can’t wait for another two years. I’ve loved my time so far.

“I’m really good mates with all the lads, and as a result I’ve enjoyed my rugby this year – playing with my mates week in, week out makes it that much more gratifying.

“It’s a really close knit bunch of lads. We’ve worked hard for our results this year and I’d like to think we earned each and every one of them.

“Everyone at the club wants to go to Super League. That’s what we’re pushing at the minute and all working towards. Fingers crossed we can get it done this year.

“I’m excited to be part of what’s to come for the London Broncos.”

Head coach Andrew Henderson added: “We gave Matty an opportunity for this season, and he has impressed me as the year has gone on. We are really pleased to have secured him for a further two seasons.

“At only 22 years of age I believe the best is yet to come from him, and we’re really looking forward to furthering his development with us over the next two years.

“Matty has proven popular with the group, has adapted to the London way, and has proved his value to this team, and this club.”
