GB Name Experimental Line-Up for Warm-Up Clash

Correspondent

Great Britain coach Brian Noble has named an experimental team to face a Newcastle Representative side in Friday's Tri Nations warm up clas, with Warrington stand off Lee Briers included.

Briers is joined in the starting 13 by Huddersfield winger Martin Aspinwall, with both looking to stake a claim for a longer run in the team. Many fans and pundits had widely tipped Briers for a call up, yet he still remains in the stand by squad.

Other fringe players such as Salford duo Andy Coley and David Hodgson will also be looking to take their chance in GB's only warm up game for the Tri Nations. Brian Carney will play on home turf in the game for the last time, before moving to Gold Coast Titans, to be played on Friday.
