Gareth Hock appeal to overturn his two match ban has been turned down.

The RFL disciplinary committee found Hock guilty of a Grade B punching offense, banning him for two matches and fining the player £300.

Hock will have to pay an extra £200 after his appeal failed, and will miss his side’s trip to Leeds and Catalan.

Hock was one of three players sent off in Sunday’s Magic Weekend derby, along with Chris Tuson and St HelensShaun Magennis.
