Galloway wants 80 minute Rhinos

Leeds prop Keith Galloway knows that the Rhinos will need to be at their best for 80 minutes when they travel to Langtree Park to face St Helens on Friday evening.

Saints lost to Catalans Dragons last time out, at home, but Leeds were boosted by a rare win against Hull FC.

Galloway, who looks set to play for Scotland in this year’s Four Nations, and was up in Glasgow at the weekend to watch his beloved Celtic FC, is looking forward to facing Saints.

“They’re a really big club,” he told Rhinos TV.

“We beat them last time, so I’m sure they’re going to be up for a big game, and I know we are, so it’s going to be good.

“They’ve got some big forwards, they’re a pretty good team all around. We beat them but they came back strong against us.

“It’s going to be a tough game at their home ground, we’ve got to play for the whole 80.”

The powerful front rower was also boosted by the win over Hull, in what has been a testing year so far for last season’s treble winners.

“It was a bit of relief,” he added.

“It’s been a tough year so far. We’ve lost a fair few games, so to actually get a win was a good feeling.”
