Gallen to sit out Storm clash

Cronulla’s Paul Gallen will miss Sunday’s match with Melbourne through suspension after pleading guilty to a striking charge.

NSW skipper Gallen was put on report after punching Queensland forward Nate Myles shortly before half-time during the Blues’ 14-6 State of Origin victory in Sydney on Wednesday.

Gallen will miss just one match and will be eligible for NSW selection for Game 2 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on June 26.
