Gale returns for Castleford while Wakefield welcome Jones-Bishop and Kirmond

Luke Gale could return for Castleford on Friday, while Wakefield will welcome back Ben Jones-Bishop and Danny Kirmond.

Castleford Tigers coach Daryl Powell has made just one change to his side that beat Huddersfield Giants last week. Will Maher comes in for the injured Joe Wardle. Current Man of Steel Gale was named in the 19-man squad last Thursday but was rested. He is expected to make a return to action this week.

Chris Chester has made three changes to his Wakefield Trinity squad that beat Catalans Dragons last time out. Jones-Bishop comes back into the squad after missing last week due to the birth of his second child and he is joined by Kirmond and Chris Annakin. The trio replace Tom Johnstone, Keegan Hirst and Max Jowitt.

The Super 8s derby clash takes place at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Friday, 7:45pm kick-off.
