Wests Tigers forward Liam Fulton has been called into the NRL All Stars team to replace injured team-mate Gareth Ellis.

Fulton, 26, was named today as the replacement for Ellis, who withdrew yesterday after succumbing to a groin injury.

“It is disappointing for Gareth to be ruled out but I will make the most of my opportunity,” Fulton said today.

“The All Stars game was a great spectacle last season and I am really looking forward to playing alongside some of these elite players under coach Wayne Bennett. I’m very excited.”

Fulton will join his Wests Tigers team mate Benji Marshall in the All Stars team for the match at Skilled Park on the Gold Coast on Saturday, February 12.
