Rochdale have announced the signing of Fuifui Moimoi for the 2021 League 1 season.

The former Tonga, New Zealand and Parramatta Eels prop arrives at the Crown Oil Arena having made more than 200 appearances in the NRL.

He has also made more than 100 appearances in the northern hemisphere for Leigh, Toronto and Workington.

On the signing, Rochdale head coach Matt Calland said: “I am delighted to get Fuifui on board with the Hornets for 2021.

“He has played over 200 NRL games, and opportunities don’t come around that often to get a player of his calibre.

“Despite being in the twilight of his career, shall we say, he is still a devastating ball carrier and will have a great influence on the team with all his experience.

“I’m sure this signing will excite the fans and I look forward to working with him in 2021.”
